The 2021-2022 Comprehensive Planning Process

On this page, you can follow the progress as the Village updates its comprehensive plan.

Last updated in 2004, the comprehensive plan is a document created by the Village to set a vision for the future of the community and identify key steps the community can take to realize that vision.  For example, the comprehensive plan provides the basis for changing the zoning in the village, those regulations that shape the nature and location of future development.

This page will enable you to follow the planning process, including reviewing draft materials, keeping track of meetings and events, all found below.  As you can see, you can also provide your thoughts on the plan.
