FROM THE MAYOR’S OFFICE: August Fun!

August is the month many of us get a chance to take a break. Although historically folks like to get away, the pandemic pause still lingers and the idea of a staycation takes on a new meaning. I always felt vacations were pretty exhausting – driving, flying, packing, unpacking, waiting on lines, sunburns, poison ivy, jellyfish! The list goes on and we’ve all experienced a memorable vacation – memorable for all the wrong reasons. Staying right here, in the Warwick Valley, has never been more appealing, especially now.

Tomorrow evening, Saturday August 7 the incredible Elissa Jones will be performing on the lawn at Stanley Deming Park. Show starts at 7:00 p.m.

Next Saturday, August 14, the Hudson Valley Jazz Festival will take the stage at Stanley Deming. The Eric Person Quartet will be performing.
