American Legion Post 214 will hold its first ever open-to-the-public retirement ceremony for faded and worn flags on Wednesday, September 8, 2021, at 5:00 p.m. in the grassy area behind the Legion building located at 71 Forester Ave. VFW Post 4664 will join in the event and the Warwick Rotarians will be serving refreshments following the 30-minute ceremony. This event is a great learning experience for both youngsters and adults. The flag retirement tribute will begin promptly at 5 p.m.
