PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Village Board of the Village of Warwick will hold a public hearing on the 6th day of January 2020, at 7:30 o’clock p.m., at Village Hall, 77 Main Street, Warwick, New York 10990, on a proposed Local Law No. 1 of the Year 2020 entitled: ” A local law altering the terms of office of the Mayor and Village Trustees so that elections may be held biennially in odd-numbered years ”.
The local law proposes to alter the terms of office for the Mayor and Village Trustees so that elections for the office of the Mayor and Village Trustees shall be held biennially, in odd-numbered years, in order to synchronize the election of two of the Village Trustees with the election of the Village Justice.
A copy of the proposed local law may be downloaded HERE or is on file in the office of the Village Clerk and available for inspection by interested persons during Village Clerk’s business hours.
The Village Board will at the above date, time and place hear all persons interested in the subject matter hereof. Persons may appear in person or by agent. All written communications addressed to the Board must be received by the Board at or prior to the public hearing.
