NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
FOR DECEMBER 10, 2019

 

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Planning Board of the Village of Warwick, New York, will hold a Public Hearing at the Town of Warwick, Town Hall, 132 Kings Highway, Warwick, New York on the 10th day of December, 2019 at 7:30 PM, or as soon thereafter as the matter can be heard, to consider comments of the Public on the following:

The application of Village View Estates, LLC for preliminary subdivision approval of lands generally located at the intersection of Locust Street and Woodside Drive, as same are located within said Village and as same are shown generally on the tax maps as section, block, and lots: 201-1-1.1, 1.2, 1.3, and 2, all for the layout of roads and other improvements, for a project referred to as “Village View”  and for such other purposes as may lawfully come before the Board.

The public hearing will also address both the subdivision plan and a Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement (SEIS) on file with the Village

A copy of the plan is available for public inspection at the office of the Planning Board during regular business hours. A copy of the SEIS is available for public examination at Village Hall and the Albert Wisner Library.  The SEIS is also posted here.

At this hearing, citizens and persons interested will have an opportunity to be heard.  The meeting is open to the public.

 

Name of Project:                  VILLAGE VIEW CLUSTER SUBDIVISION

 

Description of Action:

The applicant proposes as an alternative to a 28-lot conventional subdivision the creation of a cluster subdivision having 33 lots, with a mix of 32 one-family units on 32 separate lots and 5 two-family townhouses on one separate lot for a total of 42 dwelling units and a total of 37 structures.  Also included are associated utility improvements and internal road network with connections through adjacent land owned by the project sponsor and lying within the Town of Warwick.  The project is proposed to be serviced by municipal sewer and water.

The Planning Board will accept comments from all interested members of the public concerning the proposed subdivision plan and the Supplemental Draft Environmental Impact Statement.  The public hearing may be closed or continued at the Planning Board’s discretion.  Written comments regarding the SEIS will be received until 10 days after the close of the public hearing.
