FROM THE MAYOR’S OFFICE – Happy Birthday Dr. King!

From The Mayor’s Office

On Monday, January 21st as a country we celebrate the birthday of Rev. Martin Luther King. Locally, there will be a service at the UAME Church at 98 McEwen Street at 11:00 a.m. Our friends at Union AME invite the community for a very special celebration of the life and work of Rev. Martin Luther King. This is a wonderful event that allows us to reflect and be inspired by the spiritual leadership and ‘Dream’ of one of America’s greatest individuals.

The Village Department of Public Works will continue to pick up Christmas trees through the month of January. Trees must be placed curbside. Trees may also be dropped off at the Town of Warwick’s Chip Site on Public Works Drive until January 31st.
