FROM THE MAYOR’S OFFICE – Out and About

Congratulations to Scouts Stuart Davidson, Aiden O’Connor, Myles Ottens, and Kevin McDermott for their achievement of receiving the Eagle Award this past Saturday.

Thank you to the Warwick firemen who organized a wonderful parade on Saturday.  The weather was perfect and over 21 companies came to march through our fair Village.  Special thanks to our Public Works Department who made sure the parade route was spic and span – not a pothole or weed was to be found and for decorating Village Hall with bunting that made our historic building spectacular.  The Village looked beautiful for our guests especially with the red, white and blue plantings by the Warwick Valley Gardeners and Warwick in Bloom.

Red, White, Blue and every color of the rainbow made for a colorful, fun, pride parade on Sunday.  Hundreds of men and women from throughout the Hudson Valley came out to support the LGBTQ community.  This was an event sponsored by the Warwick Community Center, Safe Space America and the Sesquicentennial Committee.

Whenever there is an activity or parade in our community, our Police Department are there to make the event safe.  Thank you to the men and women of the Warwick Police Department for their great service to our community.
