ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

VILLAGE OF WARWICK

WARWICK ODOR CONTROL PROJECT

 

Sealed, separate Bids for the procurement of Odor Control Equipment will be received by the Village of Warwick, at the office of the 77 Main Street, Warwick New York 10990, until 2 pm local time on May 23, 2018, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened, and read. The Project consists of furnishing a new Packaged Odor Control System.

Bids will be received for a single equipment procurement contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum basis as indicated in the Bid Form.

The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Barton & Loguidice, D.P.C., 10 Airline Drive, Suite 200, Albany, New York 12205, by faxing or e-mailing a request Attn: Judy Farella at jfarella@bartonandloguidice.com or fax 518-218-1805. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00-5:00, and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

Bidding Documents also may be examined at the office of the Village Clerk, 77 Main Street, Warwick New York 10990, on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:30-4:00.

Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during the hours indicated above. Bidding Documents will be available via email or CD (in portable document format (PDF) files). Bidders requesting documents shipped via common carrier (UPS or FedEx, etc) shall furnish an account number to be directly billed. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office.  Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.

Each Bid must be submitted on the prescribed Bid Form and accompanied by Bid security, as prescribed in the Instructions to Bidders.

The Successful Bidder will be required to furnish the additional bond(s) prescribed in the Bidding Documents.

Bids will not be accepted from Bidders that have been barred from competing on public works under General Municipal Law 5A-103-b.

Purchase made by the Village of Warwick are not subject to any Federal, State or local sales tax. Bidders shall not include in their bid sales and compensating use taxes on the cost of materials.  Exemption certificates will be executed upon request.

The Owner’s right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid no conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents.
