FROM THE MAYOR’S OFFICE – ‘Village of Flowers’

Though the Village of Warwick’s election was uncontested the turnout was strong. I would like to thank the citizens of the Queen Village for their vote of confidence. I would also like to congratulate Trustee George McManus and Trustee Bill Lindberg on their win, as well as the trustees from Florida, Thomas Fuller Sr. and Craig Olejniczak, and the trustees from Greenwood Lake, Katheleen Holder and Chad Sellier.

I especially would like to congratulate Daniel Harter Jr., the new Mayor of the Village of Florida.  I’m looking forward to working with Mayor Harter as we share the same goals for our communities. Mayor Pawliczek and his board accomplished a great deal. The Village of Florida is vibrant and welcoming, with a strong and proud citizenry. Florida is truly The Village of Flowers! Now a new chapter begins – as your sister village, we are here to support you in every way possible. The strength of the Town of Warwick is in part due to its strong and special villages. The more we share and support each other the better we will be.

Happy Easter to all our Christian friends and neighbors and Blessed Passover to our Jewish Community.

The next Village Board meeting will take place Monday, April 2, 2018 at 7:30 p.m. at Village Hall, 77 Main Street.
