FROM THE MAYOR’S OFFICE – Village Paradiso !

The year has been rich with the extra events prompted by the Villages Sesquicentennial  This coming weekend will be three events  that honor the Queen Village during its special year. The first is the Warwick Valley Gardener’s annual Garden Tour. Saturday July 8th. In honor of the Sesquicentennial the tour is solely in the Village. There will be an amazing 31 Gardens represented in neighborhood clusters so you will have the ability to view numerous gardens within a stone’s throw of each other. This is a once in a lifetime opportunity to see the incredible breath of horticulture spirit in our Village from community gardens to large estates and everything in between. How often have we driven past a home and seen a small glimpse of something special behind a house, wall or fence? Now is a moment to satisfy your curiosity. This is an important fundraiser for the Warwick Valley Gardeners and your participation helps them do the remarkable activities such as maintain all our beautiful  Welcome Gardens, the Village Hall Garden, the Doc Beer’s Garden, the 9/11 Memorial and the always spectacular Railroad Green. For more info about the tour please visit www warwickvalleygardeners.org or better yet become a member  and be part of community making through hands on beautification.
